How to Add Adviice to Your Domain's DNS Records
In order to white label Adviice for your company, we need to add four new DNS records, two for the platform sub-domain and two for email sending. You can do that by following the instructions below:
Log into your domain name server (DNS) for your website, this could be where you purchased the domain or where the website is hosted. We've included several common hosting services and guides on changing DNS records with them below
Add two CNAME records for the two subdomains for the platform:
- Add a CNAME record for "app" that points to "platform.adviice.ca". This will let us serve up the platform from app."insertyourwebsite.com"
Add a CNAME record for "public" that points to "platform.adviice.ca". This will let us serve up the public dashboards from public."insertyourwebsite.com"
Adding a CNAME record might look like this. Notice how the host record is just "app"? This is because your domain name is automatically added after it
Add a TXT record and a CNAME record to verify your email/domain so the platform can send transactional emails on your behalf. (The exact TXT and CNAME instructions will come in a separate email from Postmark, our email sending service).
Propagation will take between 24 and 48 hours. Please email support support@adviice.ca once you've added the DNS records and we will keep an eye on when propagation is completed.
