FAQ: When Creating Snapshots of Expenses/Income Does the System Adjust the Current Day Amounts for Inflation?

Yes. Always enter Discovery > Expenses in Today's Dollars and the platform will do the inflation adjustment for you.

You can see this assumption in action by looking at the projections section and clicking 'Future Dollars".

The platform also assumes that your income increases with inflation each year. If this is not the case, you will need to manually override by navigating to the Projections Section and opening the Income tab in the table. Click this year's employment earnings and create an override without selecting the increase by inflation box.
