Planner Portal: Fit Criteria

The Planner Portal allows you to set criteria that automatically marks a client as a good fit or a bad fit. Client's who are a bad fit, based on their initial onboarding questions, will be sent to a page


This criteria can be set in either the Company > Fit Criteria Section or the Planner > Fit Criteria on your Planner Portal. This allows you to set different fit criteria for each planner if desired.

There are 6 criteria you can set and one mandatory criteria:

Mandatory Criteria:

  • User's Age must be over 18

Custom Criteria:

  • Province: exclude provincial residents you don't work with (eg: Quebec)
  • Citizenship: exclude non-Canadian citizens
  • Children: (Present and Future): exclude clients with children or future children
  • Incorporation: exclude incorporated business owners
  • Rental Properties: exclude rental property owners (or owners of multiple rental properties)

How to Add Custom Criteria to Your Planner Portal:

  1. Select the Question Slug You want to Add at the top of the page and click 'Create'

  2. Click the 'Edit' button in the bottom right hand corner

  3. Select whether the answers you add will be 'Good Fit' criteria or 'Bad Fit' criteria

  4. Add answers that fit that you would like to include or exclude


How to Customize Criteria for each Planner:

If different planners have different criteria, this can be changed at the Planner level by navigating to Planner > Fit Criteria, clicking on the drop down next to "Use Company Fit Criteria" and selecting "No". You will then be able to edit criteria as shown above.
