1.     Update the tax rate on future payments & subscriptions


Go to Planner Portal > Company > Stripe and Archive the old tax rate by clicking “Active” to toggle to “Archived”


Add a new tax rate by entering the Region, Description, and new Rate. Then click “Add” to add the new rate.


Verify that the new rate was added and that the old rate was archived and there are no duplicates.



2.     Update the tax rate on existing subscriptions


To change the tax rate on existing subscriptions, go to your Stripe account, go to Customers, and Export all columns and all of your Customer data and/or go to Planner Portal > Company > All Clients and export the table.

In the export, filter on customers in the province with the tax rate change, search for those customers in Stripe, then click the three dot menu icon to edit their subscription.


In the subscription click the three dot menu icon and select “Edit Product Tax” and select the new tax rate.


Then click “Update Subscription” and repeat for all impacted customers.
