Advisor Help: How to Link Zapier to Adviice

Linking Zapier to Adviice allows you connect the Adviice platform to your CRM or email mail marketing app.

Before you start:

You will need two pieces of information from Adviice:

1. An Invite Link: Since the Adviice integration is in Beta you will need a private link to connect
2. Custom API: You'll need the API from your white labeled version of Adviice

Email us at support@adviice.ca to request both of these pieces of information before you get started.

Setting up Zapier

1. Setup a free Zapier account
2. Use the Zapier integration invite link and press accept button to join the Adviice BETA integration
3. The integration is ready for use.

Setting up the connection with Adviice

1. Go to Apps https://zapier.com/app/connections

   

2. Click on Custom Integrations and select Adviice

   

3. Click “+ Add connection” and enter your API Key

   

4. Enter the Zapier API Key from the company owner in the User model. The field name is zapier_api

   

5. After connecting, the connection will display the company name and planner email.

   

Setting up the first Zap & trigger

1. Create a new zap

   

2. Add a trigger to use

   

3. Add an action to use the data from the trigger.

   

4. To test this trigger, sign-up as a client under that company.
