Advisor Help: How to Embed a Video Instead of a Calendar

If you’d like to add DIY clients to your practice, consider replacing your Discovery Calendar with an introductory video (see image above). This helps introduce DIY clients to the platform, set expectations, and guide them toward a call to action—such as a payment link.

How to Embed a Video Instead of a Calendar

You can add a video by replacing the Discovery Calendar embed code with a video embed code in the IFrame Content section of your Company Profile.

Steps to Embed a Video:

1. Record and upload your video to YouTube.

   It doesn't have to be public, but it cannot be marked private—set it to "unlisted" instead.

2. Click Share and then Embed

   

3. You will see a code snippet like the one below:

   Copy the link within the embed code - it is bolded above

4. Replace the link in the code snippet below with your own embed link.

3. Paste the updated code into the Discovery Calendar IFrame Content area of your Company Profile.

   

4. Test it using an unpaid demo client to confirm it's working properly.
