Add An Override To Debt Payments In Final Plan Projections
In the Final Plan Projection section, you may want to test the effect of additional debt payments on your financial plan. Although the platform plans debt payments based on the information in Discovery and Foundation, these planned payments can be overridden in the Final Plan Projections section.
For example, you may want to test how paying off a mortgage early may impact your long-term plan. The debt payments against the mortgage can be overridden with a higher value. The additional cash flow going towards debt payments will cause lower contributions to investment accounts. The effect can be seen on the plan after the projections are recalculated.
