FAQ: Why Is My CPP Start Age is Not Updating in Projections?
There are several reasons why this might be happening:
Do you have multiple scenarios set up? Are there different CPP start ages for each scenario?
In both the CPP/OAS Estimate Section and in the Projections Section you are able to set different start dates for different scenarios. Make sure that you are adjusting the scenario you are looking at in Projections.
Have you already started CPP?
Check the Profile section to see if there a CPP Started checkbox under your Date of Birth? If this is checked you will need to enter your CPP benefit in the Income Section of the Discovery Phase.
Have you entered an override that is interfering with the platform?
Go to Planning > Projections > Table, open the Income columns using the “>” arrow, and check to see if you previously added an override (Red) to the CPP column. This would prevent the platform from changing CPP.
