FAQ: Can I Set LIF Withdrawals to Maximum Amount?

Yes, you can tell the platform to take the maximum from the LIRA/LIF each year, this isn't a default AI Strategy so you need to go to the Planning > Projections > Table, navigate to the right to the LIRA/LIF column, open the account using the ">" arrow and enter a large -negative override like -$100,000 and cascade down to the end of the plan. The platform will automatically reduce this amount to the calculated maximum each year and it will automatically reduce your other retirement income sources now that the LIRA/LIF is providing more income.
