FAQ: Why Is There Still a Mortgage Payment in Projections After a House Sale?

At the moment the platform basically assumes the mortgage is "ported over" to a new property, but if you want to pay it off entirely then you'll go to Planning > Projections > Table and scroll to the right to the Debts, find the mortgage debt, and then add a manual override in the year of sale. This can be a very large override like $10,000,000 and the platform will "cap" the amount based on the remaining balance. Then Save and Recalculate to integrate that change.
